Working Side-by-Side in a Nearshore Model

In our session we will share our experience working side-by-side with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Partners, extending their teams, in a nearshore model. During the last 3 years we discussed with our partners the advantages to work in a nearshore model, not only acting as an extra pair of hands, but also sharing our 12 year old experience in the Dynamics CRM market, giving new ideas to partners, adding value to their solutions, which, in the end, helps partners increase their revenue. Having the teams working together locally or remotely, with a good flow of communication and shared responsibilities, is the key to have a successful win-win partnership. Through our disruptive model we introduced in the Microsoft Dynamics Partners a different way of working in a Nearshore model and add more value to the solutions they deliver to their customers. This model has been tested with partners of more than 15 countries during the last 3 years, with great success.

Introducing Your Speaker

David Mota, Competence Center Team Leader, Bizdirect

David began working as a trainee in Microsoft where Office 365 has been part of his daily work for 6 years. He then moved on as an Office 365 consultant in some Microsoft partner organizations. After that, he worked at Microsoft as a PFE (Premier Field Engineer) helping customers across EMEA with Office 365 migrations and deployments. Today, David is responsible for the delivery team and all the process related with software Development, in Bizdirect Competence Center.

Miguel Torrão Mendes, International Sales Director, Bizdirect

Miguel began his career as an Account Manager before completing his MBA. He then joined Telecel (now Vodafone Portugal) as a Business Analyst before moving to HP as a Product Manager. For the past ten years he has worked in Marketing and Sales for Sonaecom. Miguel also previously held senior roles, having worked in manager and director positions in companies such as Mainroad, Optimus and Praesidium. He joined WeDo Technologies in 2008 where he was Utilities Market Director and has been involved in developing business and projects in both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.

Since 2017 he is International Market Director at Bizdirect where he has the responsibility for developing business with partners in Microsoft technologies like Dynamics 365 and SharePoint.

 

Miguel has a degree in Electrothecnical Engeneering by Instituto Superior Técnico – Universidade Técnica de Lisboa and also a MBA by Universidade Nova de Lisboa.



Ruben Ruiz, Delivery Manager, Bizdirect

Having graduated in Telecommunications and IT engineering, Ruben started his professional career exclusively with Dynamics CRM 6 years ago. During this period, he has worked as a technical consultant and solution architect having later on assumed the role of project manager in several Dynamics CRM implementations and upgrades ranging from version Dynamics CRM 3.0 to Dynamics 365 across industries such as sports, publishing and automotive amongst others. Currently Ruben is Bizdirect’s Delivery Manager and is responsible for overseeing Bizdirect’s team of project managers and solution architects.
